Scholastic provides us with two reading programs: System 44 and Read 180. These programs are used everyday to improve students' reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.
Mrs. Young's classroom website has a plethora of information. Here, you can find course syllabi, the school calendar and grading scale, and links to Mrs. Young's Reading and Writing Composition websites.
Think of Google Docs as a flashdrive, except you don't have to carry it around in your pocket. Students have a CSE email account in addition to access to Google Documents/Google Drive. Students can upload assignments and share them with both teachers and peers.
Edmodo is like Facebook for education. Mrs. Young has both reading and writing class Edmodo sites. This is where you can find assignments, polls, quizzes, etc.
